Off the top of my head I thought of One Voice Community Center, Phoenix Body Positive (or whatever their new clinical sounding name is) and 1n10 – Valley 1 n 10. I’m sure each of these organizations would be in need of volunteers.
Then there’s always Phoenix Gay Pride, One Voice Bowl-a-Thon and I heard something about the Arizona Sisters preparing for Drag Wars.
Let’s see, how about getting more political… ACLU, HRC, Marriage Equality? Or better yet… wonder if Guerilla Gay Bar needs someone to help out over there? Now that sounds like a great volunteering opportunity. Give back to the community and get tanked while you’re at it!
I’m calling them… But before I go, checkout Idealist.org and Volunteermatch.org
